TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE CANON EOS M10 : SELF PORTRAIT FEATURE Pt.2

Hye there! Today I will be showing you the second part of the Self Portrait feature! If you missed the first part, here's the link >>> Self Potrait

In the previous tutorial I showed you the difference between settings for Brightness Level and Beautifying Level (a.k.a Face Smoothing). This time, I will help you to compare the Background Blurred Level.

This essentially helps a lot for my make-up tutorials as well as beauty shots. It's not always that we can get help from our photographer friends, right? So this is perfect for me,  when I can just take these kind of shots by myself, especially since I have a hectic lifestyle.

I am honestly trying my best to step up my make-up game, and hopefully if all goes as plan, you would get to see my halloween make-up series. Nothing too fancy though, as I am still learning.

Here's the example of the pictures with different Background Blurred levels. Click on the image to clearly see the difference.

This setting is quite useful especially if you want to play with your depth of field. It works well for both far and close distant.

As mentioned previously, I truly believe that my selfies and make-up pictures have definitely powered up with the help of this camera. Do let me know what do you think, do you find this setting for the Self Portrait useful?

And don't forget to leave some suggestions of what kind of pictures would you like to see me take and post up by next week, thank you!

Here's behind the scenes:

P.S: If you like architecture, then the next Canon EOS M10 Tutorial post would be something to look forward to!

Till the next post, see you!

Sincerely,
Absolute Yana

  3. There is certainly much more definition to the photos and you can see how crisp the color is as well. Will have a look at the Canon EOS M10, it seems to be quite promising :)
