TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE CANON EOS M10 : HANDHELD NIGHT SCENE FEATURE

Hye there! Today I will be showing you how did I take my night shots using the Canon EOS M10! For this tutorial, I did not only stick to the "Handheld Night Scene" feature, rather I tested two other features as well, the "Sports" and "Fish-eye Effect".

For this photography session, I went to the middle of the city with my friend, James. (Thanks boy, for helping me out!) We were a little more adventurous and curious this time. So we went to the newly launched Helipad Lounge and KLCC park to get these shots.

Hope you will like them!

Truthfully, I do prefer using the "Sports" and "Fish-Eye Effect" modes more than the "Handheld Night Scene" mode itself, as I felt the pictures came out more clearer.

What do you think? Did the pictures come out well? Am I getting better at this?

By the end of next week, I will be posting up both a video and post for the final Canon EOS M10 Readers Challenge. Hint: Halloween

Do stay tune for it!

Till the next post, see you!

Sincerely,
Absolute Yana

  1. I agree with you that Sports mode and fish eye effect somehow produces a clearer pic and better lighting somehow in my opinion. Just a question, what camera do you think would do a good job both for picture taking and video. Currently I am using Casio Exilim 1200, thanks!

  2. i would think the handheld night scene function pales in comparison to the other two functions because there's 3 person/alot of trees blocking the lights in front? but they all look beautifully taken!

  9. Like the fish-eye effect! It give an effect of wider angle! It works really well in low-light unlike mine :/
