My First Marathon In 2017 With Beauty Blogger Carmen
Hye there!
I had a wonderful weekend as I had my first marathon after a long 3months break since the 42km Penang Bridge Marathon. I am genuinely happy that I can cover the 3km marathon without any difficulties!
You must be wondering why I am being a little bit dramatic for 3km since I have covered 37km before, right? Well, after the 21km Standard Chartered marathon, I injured my left knee and without giving it enough time to recover I ran the 42km in Penang, which I only managed to cover til the 37km because both my knees were severely in pain.
I couldn't walk properly for 2 weeks on top of the swollen feet and even after a month of resting, I couldn't even jog for 500m without coming to a complete stop.
Despite fearing that I might have knee-joint problems if I continued running, I still set a goal of running a marathon in 2017 and thanks to Carmen Hong from http://www.carmenhong.com/, I was able to accomplish that goal! Thanks, babe!
Oh! And super thank you for giving me both pieces of the medal, you are way too kind!
It was more of a fun run this time around as we ran in pairs and kept pace for the entire team of 8 young ladies in tutus. We had the opportunity to cheer on for other runners and took many pics along the way.

I must say that Putrajaya has so many beautiful attractions that have definitely intrigued my interest in exploring that place more! Guess who is going to go Putrajaya more often now for some photography snaps? ME!
And special thanks to Summersault Running Costumes for organising and encouraging besties or even lovers to join a race like this!
