Hye there!
Today I will like to talk about why it's okay for men to use beauty products and why they shouldn't be bashed for it.
First of all, let me start with the thought that all beauty products are health-related products too!
It's not wrong for a man to take care of his rough hands or face. It's not wrong for men wanting to have softer and healthier hair. It's not wrong for men to use a mist spray to hydrate himself.
I don't know about other men's thoughts on beauty products that well, but I do know what does Chern (my boyfriend) thinks of beauty products.
In his perception, he thinks that all beauty products are meant for women only. He thinks that it's okay for men to have rough hands, uneven skin tone, acne and scarred face. Because apparently, that's what symbolises a man.
Strangely enough, this is how most men think about beauty products and their own image.
This is completely my opinion and I would love to totally disagree on that mindset! Why? Because...
To be a man is to be able to provide the support and love, making bold and responsible decisions, to feel and admit emotions and the list just goes on and on...
Having softer hands and cleaner face does not make a person any lesser of a man than he is.
Having a cleaner and fresher looking face will instantly help you guys to boost your confidence, so why not start getting rid of those scars and acne?
Having a softer hand will instantly melt your girlfriend's heart...why? Because it feels much more comforting when you stroke their face or hair, rather than feeling like they have a sand paper running against their cheeks!
Having a soft, bouncy and fuller hair helps to project a healthier you, and at the very least it doesn't make you look like you haven't washed your hair for days. Please don't skip out on that hair conditioner!
Having a well-hydrated face keeps you energised and feeling good throughout the day, so what are you waiting for? Get yourselves that mist spray!
Looking prim and proper has a lot of benefits especially for men! People tend to take men who are presentable more seriously in comparison to men who lack 'energy' and 'enthusiasm' in their looks.
Let's encourage men to take on a healthier lifestyle but feeling and looking the part!
Please do drop me a message on what other matters would you like to hear from me...Till the next post, see you!
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
Absolute Yana
