Cafe Hunting: Cafe Tujoh Seksyen 17

If you are looking for a quiet and cozy place to get some work done on your laptop, then you might want to give Cafe Tujoh a try! Just last week, I discovered this cafe, thanks to the eagle-eyed Miriam. (If you are wondering who is Miriam, she is a friend that has been helping me improve myself and how I see my life....I will talk about her more in another post.)

Even though I have noticed this cafe, which is directly behind my workplace, I never gave it a chance since they did not serve anything else but cakes and drinks. You'd probably eat cakes for lunch, but I am a person of meat and rice, unfortunately cakes won't be enough to feed the hungry monster in me.

But thankfully! I still had the chance to try this place out, when Miriam suggested it for our weekly "bonding therapy".

Like I mentioned in the beginning, if you work from home or simply love to change your "workplace" or even if you just want to enjoy some peace and quiet time while sipping on a cup of latte, then I would highly recommend you to try out Cafe Tujoh.

There are electrical points available, so you don't have to worry about your laptop running out of juice.

If you are wondering what do they serve at Cafe Tujoh, they pretty much only serve cakes and a good amount of beverages which includes your favourite coffee, tea and juices. Don't worry, they have a variety of cakes for you try out. On the day of our first visit, there were 8 types of cake served.

On my first date with Miriam, we went with the Japanese Cheese Cake. It's not brag worthy, but it definitely tastes good. Sponge-like, airy and with a dose of sweet cheese. What's not to love, right?

Although I skipped out on tasting Miriam's latte (not a fan of coffee), it definitely looks really Instagram-worthy! Oh! And she said it tastes good; so I'm taking her word for it.

I, on the other hand, had Iced Chocolate Mint...and it was one of the best Chocolate Mint drink I've ever had. It tastes exactly like the Chocolate Mint Ice Cream! Not too chocolaty and not too was just perfect! Totally refreshing. Absolutely recommended!

Since we both loved our first visit, we already made plans to visit this place again to try out their other cakes. No promises, but most likely I will keep updating this post on how the other cakes tastes like. So, do make sure to keep an eye out for it by subscribing to my newsletter.

If you'd like to try out Cafe Tujoh, here's their location: 617, Jalan 17/10, Seksyen 17, 46400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
